First 10 miler

Today I passed a major running milestone – 10 miles! Only a little over a year ago I was just starting to run. Amazing what you can do in a year.

Completed my first 8 miler yesterday and felt great! The half marathon is starting to look doable – only about 2 months until the big day.

Yesterday was my first ever racing event! Phil and I ran in the St. Patrick’s Day 10K in Mission Bay. Even with tendinitis in my ankle I managed to get a very respectable time (for me). My time was 1:08:32 and placed 1672 out of 1909. Looking forward to our next event!
